Arts Program
What is the Arts Program?
The Tulalip Boys and Girls Club arts program is a place where youth can come together and express themselves artistically. It's a safe place to explore the arts and to practice creating artwork in many different types of media.
What types of help do you offer?
The art program helps youth experience art in many different types of media. From music to painting to acting students are able to experience all that art has to offer. Youth participate in puppet shows, art contests and music appreciation. They are able to work with nature designs and fabric designs. Youth are encouraged to try all types of art.
The Arts Program also offers a 4-H Sewing club. This club meets every other Wednesday from 3:30 - 5:30 PM in the Arts room at the Tulalip Boys and Girls Club. This year alone there have been over 91 people in the club. So come early and have fun learning to sew and make great art!
Why is the Arts Program important?
There are many reasons why the arts program is important to the youth who come to the Tulalip Boys and Girls Club. Just some of them are:
- enhance self esteem through accomplishments;
