What is the Learning Center?
The Learning Center is a place where youth can come to receive help on a wide range of activities. From one on one tutoring and homework help to computer programs that help youth learn math, reading and science. The Learning Center is there to help youth do more then just learn they also help encourage a positive learning environment and help youth increase their self esteem.
What types of help do you offer?
- 100's of books to choose from for reading from our Accelerated Reader (AR) Programs.
- Computer based math games and tests to help students improve their math skills.
- One on One tutoring
Why is the Learning Center important?
The Learning Center is important because it creates a positive learning environment for students. Through the Learning Center students can develop a one on one relationship and get specific help in math and reading tailored to their needs. The Learning Center helps students improve their self esteem and encourage them to continue learning.
